When he’s not playing with his band or recording in the studio, he spends his time teaching others how to play both bass and the guitar. Other hobbies of his include quality music gear, King Crimson, and sifting the web for the latest music updates - and ofcourse writing about them.
Jordan Lent
Jordan is not only a professional content creator and writer but also an audio engineer, music producer, and session musician himself. He is an experienced guitarist and enjoys listening to and playing many different genres of music. Apart from that he also (in his own words) loves to educate people in ways that are easy for everyone to understand. His past work experience mainly focuses on sound engineering, music, and technology. He has over 4 years of experience as a live sound engineer.
James Nugent
James is an USA-based writer and musician with a passion for audio production. Growing up he was surrounded by talented musicians and different forms of music, which set the path for both his personal and private life. He played several instruments during his childhood, dipping his toes into all sorts of musical genres, but once grown-up he discovered that his true calling is music production, rather than creation.
Ben Jacklin
Ben is a writer, musician, and former studio engineer from the UK. His two major passions in life are music and writing, so naturally, he chose a combination of both as his career. Besides writing about instruments, music, and music equipment, he also used to work in recording studios in the East of England. He produced music that has been played on BBC radio and even ran a record label where some of the music he produced was played on MTV. As a self-proclaimed audiophile, Ben emerged himself in the world of music from quite an early age.
Alex Scott
Alex is a multi-instrumentalist, record producer, audio engineer, and filmmaker based in Denver, CO. Over his career, he’s worked with hundreds of clients from the US and around the world, including Grammy-award winning artists and producers and major national brands.
Growing up in the music industry
He got introduced to the world of music at quite an early age. His father, the Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter Joe Scott, practically raised Alex in the studio and fostered a love for music that would have a lasting impact on Alex’s life and career.
